KLX®230 DUAL-SPORT MOTORCYCLE

The KLX®230 is the lightweight dual-sport for on- and off-road fun. Designed for the trails and tuned for on-road versatility, this motorcycle features dual-purpose Bosch® ABS so you can take on low-friction surfaces with confidence. Light the way with a powerful 60/55 W headlamp while an easy-to-read LCD screen provides all-digital instrumentation.

STEADY POWER

A 233cc air-cooled four-stroke engine generates a steady pull with robust low- to mid-range torque while the capable two-valve SOHC low maintenance design ensures durable performance. Electric start and fuel injection ensure easy starting and hassle-free performance regardless of altitude or air temperature, and cleanburning efficiency earns the KLX®230R motorcycle year-round trail access.* STEADY POWER *California green sticker model available for year-round access.

RUGGED CHASSIS

New perimeter frame and short wheelbase offer the handling needed for confident trail riding for a wide range of riders. The frame, seat and tank were designed to give riders an easier grip, offering superior chassis control. Seams between the shrouds, seat, and side covers are flush, which facilitates freedom of movement when changing riding positions.

VERSATILE SUSPENSION

Long-travel suspension provides ample ground clearance, with a 37mm telescopic front fork and rear Uni-Trak® single-shock suspension. Maintain comfort and control even on rough terrain and adjust the shock preload to suit rider size and preference.
