V7 III SPECIAL, CLASSIC AND ELEGANT
Of all the V7 models, this classic, elegant bike remains closest to the spirit of the original, as demonstrated in its many chrome details and the distinctive contrasting stripes on the under-seat side panels which complement the horizontal band running down the spine of the fuel tank which, like the side panels, also features updated glossy artwork.
The spoked wheel rims have polished channels and black hubs, the analogue dual-display instrument panel features an LCD screen which provides a host of information, while the chrome-plated steel passenger grab handle comes as a standard feature. The V7 III makes an additional nod to its classic, refined lineage with its seat finished in “old school” stitching.
SMALL BLOCK ENGINE: UNIQUE CHARACTER AND SOUND
The Moto Guzzi 90° transverse V-twin engine is unique in the world and was developed not only with performance and reliability in mind, but also with the aim of providing absolute riding pleasure and an entertaining on-road experience.
The engine contains a driveshaft calculated to deliver more liveliness during inertia and enhanced engine braking, while the piston cooling oil jets come with a flow control and management valve. The exhaust comes with dual pipe manifolds for improved thermal insulation.
The 744cc-cylinder confirms the V7 III as the Moto Guzzi entry-level motorcycle. With maximum power of 52 horsepower at 6200 rpm and 60Nm of torque at 4900 rpm, and an absolutely flat torque curve, the V7 III combines ease of use with the character and quick response synonymous with Moto Guzzi engines.
A reduced-power version is also available, which meets the parameters of the A2 class driver's license. Ideal for new Guzzi riders with its reduced weight and bulk, it still delivers the easy riding experience to be expected in any bike in the V7 III family.
